We are pleased to announce that Scott Turner has joined The WildeWood Club as our new General Manager.
Scott brings more than 20 years of experience with extensive background in private club leadership, golf operations, membership development, and financial management. Most recently, Scott served as General Manager of Timberlake Country Club on Lake Murray, where he focused on operational excellence, staff development, exceptional member service, and membership growth.
Scott’s career has also included leadership roles at Jekyll Island Golf Club, Darlington Country Club, Southbridge Golf Club, and Cedar Rock Golf & Country Club. His accomplishments include significant membership growth, building strong teams, and positive service cultures.
A graduate of The Citadel with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education, Scott became a Class A PGA Member in 2002 and was recognized by his PGA peers as the 2009 Southeast Georgia Golf Professional of the Year.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Scott is known for his visibility, strong interpersonal skills, innovative approach, and commitment to creating a culture of excellence, enthusiasm, and fun. We believe his experience and leadership will be a tremendous asset to WildeWood as we continue to build upon the Club’s strengths and enhance the experience for our members and their families.
Scott’s first day will be Monday, September 21st. We encourage you to stop by and say hello to help us make Scott and his family feel at home as he begins this new chapter with our Club.
We would also like to take a moment to express our sincere appreciation to Mike Biscotti for his service to WildeWood during this transition. Mike stepped into the role of Interim General Manager when the Club was without a General Manager and provided valuable leadership, stability, and support during an important period for WildeWood. We are grateful for his willingness to serve the Club and our membership when he was needed most.
