Dear Wildewood Members,
I am excited to announce that we have booked an exclusive TaylorMade fitting experience on , JUNE 11, 2020 at our venue, where all members will have the opportunity to go through a Tour-level custom club fitting.
During these unprecedented times, TaylorMade has taken advanced measures to ensure your health and safety, as well as that of our staff and their team. Those measures include:
- Fitting reps are required to use face coverings at all fitting events
- Customers attending fitting experiences are encouraged, but not required, to wear face coverings (not supplied by TaylorMade)
- All fittings will be limited to 1-on-1 experiences with social distancing practices
- Fitting reps are equipped with a sanitization kit that includes disinfectant wipes, hand sanitizer, disinfectant soap, towels and sterilized brushes
- Golf equipment will be cleaned and sterilized following each usage
Rest assured that your health and safety is the No. 1 priority for both our club and TaylorMade. We will ask that you respect the precautions by not attending if you have a cough or fever (or have had in the last 14 days), have been exposed to someone who has had COVID-19 in the last 14 days, or might otherwise expose our staff or other guests to unnecessary risk.

POOL and PLAYGROUND UPDATE
The WildeWood Swimming Pool and the new Playground will open on Friday, May 29, 2020. The Pool hours will be from 10:00 am – 8:00 pm Monday through Sunday. There is a limit of 100 people in the pool complex at this time due to Covid-19 restrictions.
The Baby pool has been repaired and it will be open as well. The Splash Pad will be constructed this fall and it will be ready to open for the 2021 swim season.
Lounge chairs will be spaced at a minimum of 6 feet and the pool attendants will be thoroughly cleaning the tables and chairs after each use.
The Pool snack bar will be open from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm daily with Hot Dogs, Sandwiches, Snacks, Candy, Sno Cones, and non-alcoholic beverages. Delivery service will also be available from the Clubhouse Grill by calling 803-788-8000 Option 2.
There will always be an attendant to check-in the members at the pool. You do not need to know your member number, they will be able to pull you up by name. Pool access is available for immediate family members and grandchildren of current members. There is a $5 guest fee for any guests. We ask that there are no guests while we are at the 100 person limit.
SWIM TEAM
The Columbia Swim League cancelled the 2020 season due to Covid-19. The WildeWood Club still has plans for Swim Team activities this summer as we see this as an opportunity to start building a team for next year’s league. More details will be sent out on Swim Team next week.
PLAYGROUND
Our playground equipment has been installed and we will open it up next Friday when the pool opens. Over the next month we will be adding an attractive stone wall and a fence around the playground complex. There will be tables and chairs inside of the playground complex so that you may sit comfortably and watch the little ones play. Landscaping will also be installed around the playground.Once the construction starts on the stone wall and fence, we will need to close the playground for a short time.
